Clarification, Developer of the game Pavel (a single person, original creator of the game) is the one who put the time bomb bug/exploit into the game. It causes the game to crash most time within 20 seconds of starting the game. Most likely because publisher Oovee did not meet his financial requirements. Both parties are technically at fault. There has been a long reported history of Oovee not paying Pavel and locking him out from updating the game. There also have been numerous lawsuits involved.

This is absurd that a $30 game on steam is not playable. Update 1, so here is what LocalHost found in the game. He also made a fix but I won't post direct download links for security reasons. Scroll down on this thread on the official forums for a fix that will re-enable the game, use at your own risk

All I can say is that the date checks are all written as 'If X time has elapsed since 2/nov/2015'. -The 300s crash is a combination of a timebomb and a workshop kill switch. Even if the date is still ok, the game is looking at mod 1FAB0900, and hashing the text 'Highly detailed medium size truck, with unique sounds and addons.Type-B truck achievements could not be earned with this truck.'. If the hash doesn't match an certain hardcoded value, the 300s timer starts. -Same thing with workshop item 1FAB08F5, but I did not not know what text is taken into account.'

Update 3, For those of you getting mad at Pavel (Developer). It's not just Pavel though. Oovee blocked him from releasing updates and also withheld his pay multiple times refusing to pay what he rightfully earned. In all honesty though Pavel did what most of us would do. If your boss stopped paying you for your work, wouldn't you temporarily disable what you made for them until you were paid? It was to the point where Pavel left the official forum after Oovee would delete his posts. They didn't want him to be able to get his side of the story out.
